Obituary
Maxine Freeman, 93, of Linwood, Kansas passed away Monday, February 24, 2020 at The Piper Assisted Living and Memory Care Facility in Kansas City, Kansas. She was born August 7, 1926 to Andy and Aggie Moore in Onia, Arkansas.
Maxine was preceded in death by her husband Lloyde in 2002 and son Donald (Dorcas) in 2012. She is survived by seven children: LeVerne, Cordia (Richard) Fritz, Jimmie (Debbie), Lloyde C. (Pam), Karen (Rayburn K.) Sifford, Sharon Fritz, Belinda Freeman; 16 grandchildren and many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Maxine was a homemaker and a bus driver for the Linwood School District. A member of the Church of Christ, she attended services as long as her health allowed. Maxine was loved by many and will be missed by friends and family alike.
Visitation will be at 10 a.m. Friday, February 28, 2020, at Charter Funerals – Sunset Chapel, 16731 Springdale Rd, Leavenworth, Kansas, followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. Burial will be at Sunset Memory Gardens.
